Bev was definitely an Angel among us. She was someone who gave all she had to her family and friends. She wanted everyone to be happy. Bev grew up around the car business. Moving to Colusa when she was two years old. Her Grandfather and Father started our local Ford Dealership, Hoblit Motors In 1949 here in Colusa. A year after moving to Colusa her Brother Dave was born. Bev was always proud of her little Brother Dave. Bev was our very own Miss Colusa County In 1964. She was truly a beautiful young lady. After High School Bev started a family and had three wonderful children, Lindee, Kimberlee, and Ryan. Bev also had two grandchildren Blake and Branden. Her family and friends were her whole life. Her Brother Dave would become the third generation owner of Hoblit’s in 1992. Bev would go to work for him at the dealership in 1994.
Bev was very fortunate to find her soul mate, Mr. Hot Rod Dick Armocido. They would Marry in 2001. Dick brought a lot of fun and excitement to Bev’ life. They were a perfect couple. Dick’s family being from the car industry as well. Bev was happy to welcome Dick’s daughter and son in law as well as four more grandchildren to her family. Dick and Bev enjoyed taking the Hot Rod’s on runs all over the US and Canada. They would travel with their car group The Rusty Nuts. Bev was always in charge of making the arrangement’s. She would even inspect the rooms to make sure everyone was taken care of. Bev also enjoyed Las Vegas. Terry Fator show’s were a can’t miss event every time they went. Bev enjoyed playing golf when her and Dick would travel on the CWA and RMA rice conventions as well. She will definitely always be remembered as a very caring person. Caring for others was definitely her passion. Bev will always be missed but will stay alive in our hearts forever. Bev our dear friend our angel.
